Refund policy
Sold-As-Is, No-Return Policy
Thank you for choosing to shop at The Fabulist. We take great pride in curating a unique selection of antique and vintage items for our valued customers. As you browse our store, please remember that the items we offer are one-of-a-kind treasures with their own individual history and character. To ensure transparency and clarity regarding our purchasing policy, we have outlined our "Sold-As-Is, No-Return" policy below:
Sold-As-Is" Condition:
All items in our antique shop are sold in "as-is" condition. This means that they are sold in the condition they are found or purchased. Our items may show signs of wear, aging, patina, and imperfections, which are often part of their charm and authenticity. We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph each item, including any notable flaws or wear, to provide you with a clear understanding of its condition.
No Returns, Exchanges, or Refunds:
Due to the unique and often delicate nature of our antique and vintage items, we regretfully cannot accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds once an item has been purchased. We encourage all customers to thoroughly review item descriptions, and photographs, and ask any questions they may have prior to making a purchase. Your understanding of the "as-is" nature of our items is greatly appreciated.
Shipping Damage:
In the unlikely event that an item is damaged during shipping, we will work with you to address the issue promptly. If you receive a damaged item, please follow these steps:
a. Document the damage: Take clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.
b. Contact us immediately: Notify us of the damage within 7 days of receiving the item by emailing us at thefabulistnz@gmail.com Please include your order number and detailed information about the damage.
c. Return the damaged item: We may request that you return the damaged item to us, following our return shipping instructions.
d. Resolution: Once we receive the damaged item and confirm the damage, we will work with you to resolve the issue. This may include providing a replacement item (if available) or issuing a refund for the purchase price and return shipping costs.
Shipping Responsibility:
We take great care in packaging and preparing items for shipment to minimize the risk of damage during transit. However, once an item leaves our shop and is in the possession of the shipping carrier, we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping. We strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance for valuable items to protect your investment.
By making a purchase from The Fabulist, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions, including our "Sold-As-Is, No-Return" policy. We appreciate your support and understanding as we strive to preserve and share the beauty of antique and vintage items with you.
If you have any questions or require further clarification about our policies, please do not hesitate to contact us at thefabulistnz@gmail.com. Thank you for choosing to shop with us and for appreciating the timeless quality of antique treasures.
Sincerely,
Brother Jay
